Smt. T.Vasantha Lakshmi, a committed and dedicated social worker, having large experience in the field of social welfare leads VLCT & RC. As a management graduate (MBA) from a reputed institution, Smt. T.Vasantha Lakshmi was strongly influenced by Gandhian thoughts and was moved by the development theory of Gandhiji to see his idea in action. VLCT & RC was thus set up in 1998, devoted to the twin objectives of social service and human development. As a feather on the cap Smt. Vasantha Lakshmi has been awarded the TOYI (Ten Outstanding Young Persons of India) award by the Indian Junior Chamber.

Dr. T.Ravi Kumar, M.D., D.Ch., Chief Consultant and Director of Ravi Children Hospital a renowned paediatrition as a Founder Trustee also administers VLCT & RC.

The trust salutes to the dedication, support & assistance rendered by Dr. T.Ravi Kumar as an expert in child related health activities within a short stint, Dr. T.Ravi Kumar has been recognized as one of the outstanding personality in the field of charity work.

Besides, the trust has active committee members who are fully aware of the situation and riseup to the situation to provide timely assistance and co-operation for working with the people to develop the area as set out by the trust in its aims and objects with a clear cut strategy.
