Education

Child labour is predominant in the children working in mica mines. Children are also involved in agricultural activities to earn a supplementary income for their families. In view of this, the Trust has targeted groups to entrust minimum level of education through non formal education, vocational training etc.and also arranged to enroll them in the main stream (i.e., formal schools) thereafter.

Empowerment

VLCT & RC seeks to empower women to improve their socio-economic & environmental condition, capacity building through selfhelp groups.
